Sex in cars is no longer limited to back seat rumbles in a parked vehicle. A study recently published in the Journal of Sex Research surveyed 1,165 college students and found that 29% reported having sex (usually oral) in a moving vehicle. The practice is sometimes known as “roadhead.” The risk, novelty, spontaneity, taboo violation, and possibility of being seen were cited as motivating factors leading to the intense adrenaline rush they reported experiencing. Cell phone use, including watching porn, was also common while having sex in moving vehicles. Males were more likely to achieve orgasm this way than females. We don’t recommend trying this, but it does seem to be an accelerating trend.
