In this rather astonishing and developing case, a 61-year-old man (and reportedly former Hell’s Angel) from Northern Sweden has been charged with forcing his wife into sex acts with 120 men, 26 of which have already been charged. The husband admits to playing madam but denies any wrongdoing. In Sweden, selling sex is not illegal, but purchasing it and organizing it are both crimes. The alleged victim admits to willingly participating to “some extent”, but contends that the sexual encounters between 2022 and 2025 were not all consensual, and that she was threatened and abused by her husband at their rural isolated farm. There are some parallels here to the infamous French case in which Dominique Pelicot was charged and convicted in 2024 for organizing the mass rape of his then wife over a period of nine years.
