Heated Rivalry – that recently debuted Queer Canadian sports series which you’ve surely heard of – has just been green lit for a second season. It’s now Canadian streaming platform Crave’s biggest original production. The show is packed with gay jock sex, which has many horny toads croaking. But if we put those other-worldly asses aside, is the series any good? It certainly has its critics. Guardian writer Tim Byrne claims the show is full of “bullshit platitudes and cheap stereotypes about gay men.” Regardless of the show’s quality, the coalition of gay men and straight women currently eating it up is interesting.
