In Berkeley on Sept. 25 to Sept. 27, Slutcon, a sex education convention organized by the online sexographer Aella, will hold dozens of events facilitated by sex educators, sex workers, a philosopher, a doctor, a therapist and others. The ticket prices range from $3,000 to $18,000, based on the exclusivity and personalization desired by the attendee. Although it might seem oriented toward men, it is reported to have an equal number of male and female attendees; a core aspect of the event is the opportunity for male participants to practice their technique with “flirt girls,” from whom they receive open and honest feedback. Session titles include “The Slutty Doctor’s Guide to Slutting Smarter: Catch Orgasms, Not Chlamydia,” “Vulvar and Uterine Arousal,” “Intro to Rope Bondage,” “Intro to Anal Play for Men,” “What Men Like and How to Become It,” as well as courses in massage, erotic hypnosis, photography for dating, men’s fashion, and orgy planning.
