Legal Defense Fund for Gay Dad Who Punched Maga Harasser

Nearly $100,000 was raised through GoFundMe to support a couple of gay dads in West Hollywood, Anthony Vulin and David Miller-Robinson, in West Hollywood after one of them was charged with a felony following a confrontation with the obnoxious right-wing influencer Ryley Niemi. According to the couple, Niemi and his team approached them while they were walking with their baby and falsely claimed to be conducting a CNN interview. During the exchange that followed, Niemi allegedly asked homophobic and inflammatory questions about gay parenting, including false insinuations linking gay men to child abuse. Video of the confrontation later circulated online and showed Miller-Robinson eventually punching Niemi after tensions escalated. Miller-Robinson was arrested and later charged with felony vandalism over alleged damage to camera equipment, though the couple disputed those claims. Niemi set up a crowdfunding campaign of his own to recoup the cost of his camera, in which he had only raised $1,835 when this story was published. $97,183 versus $1,835 says a lot, don’t you think?
