Rep. Lauren Boebert’s son Tyler was arrested for “child sexual exploitation” after he filmed sex with his girlfriend, who at the time was two weeks shy of her 18th birthday; Tyler was already 18 at the time. He was not accused of distributing the video, but the girlfriend herself did share it with some of her friends. The notion that this is child abuse or that the girlfriend (who was the one sharing the video) was victimized is ridiculous. Our legal system has more serious crimes to prosecute.
We should also give him a break, since sexual exhibitionism runs in the family. Three years ago, Rep. Boebert herself was kicked out of a Denver theater for open sexual groping with a man she was dating. She has been a leading voice critical of the Trump administration’s handling of the Epstein files; she has also criticized her male congressional colleagues for being “so horny” and admonished them to “go to Church”.
