The Trump administration has been working to ban transgender troops from the military since the start of Trump’s second term. This past June, a U.S. court of appeals ruled that a policy to expel transgender troops was a violation of the Constitution. However, the rank-and-file members of these boards are rejecting these orders and voting to keep their trans colleagues.
